A Leading Consumer Products Company located in Passaic County, New Jersey is searching for a Tax Accountant who will be responsible for the following: |
| Duties |
- Prepare consolidated, combined, and separate federal and state income tax returns, sales and use tax returns, property tax returns, annual reports
- Assist the Senior Manager, two Managers and Senior Accountant with various work papers, research, and account analysis
- File extensions and estimated payments
- Complete the compliance, planning and accounting for Income Taxes
- Interface with Corporate operating companies
- Identify and research tax issues using tax library and on-line tax services
- Communicate and advise operating companies on tax related matters
- Calculate tax basis and tax implications of proposed transactions
- Review and advise operating companies on Accounting for Income Taxes
- Contact, communicate and maintain relationships with tax authorities
