- 2+ years experience, Retail/Fashion Industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Accounting Software (JD Edwards, SAP)

A Leading Company located in New York is searching for a Staff Accountant who will handle the following responsibilities: |
| Duties |
- Assist with the month end close and the year end audit
- General ledger account analysis
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries
- Prepare monthly accruals
- Assist with special projects and requests as needed
- Monitor and maintain general ledger accounts
- Provide general accounting back up, as necessary
- Cash deposits reconciliations
- Assist in the year-end audit and tax process
- Prepare specific account analysis and track expenses
- Provide assistance in special projects as needed
