A Leading Retail Company located in Philadelphia, PA is searching for a Staff Accountant who will handle the following responsibilities: |
| Duties |
- Month-end accounting close
- Maintain the fixed asset subsidiary ledger and fixed asset subsidiary ledger interface with general ledger
- Monitor and maintain all fixed asset and related accounts including PP&E, depreciation and gain/loss on disposal
- Create monthly, quarterly and yearly fixed asset reports to meet all internal and external reporting requirements
- Provide fixed asset data, information and reports for the Tax Department
- Participate in fixed asset special projects as requested by management
- Work with WIPRO (outsourced fixed asset function group) to coordinate asset input, correction, transfer, retirement and other reporting functions
- Assist fixed asset manager with any tasks that they have to finish
