Excellent opportunity for an Analytical Scientist with expertise in separation/detection methods related to emulsions/colloids/semi-solids/polymer solutions to join a growing pharmaceutical company located in Northern California.
Qualifications:MS or PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline with 3+ years experience in drug discovery and pharmaceutical industry.
Current knowledge of the following separation/chromatography and detection/light scattering techniques: HPLC, GPC/SEC, IC, GC, MS, UV, PDA, RI, MALS, DLS, ELSD
Record of accomplishment in developing, writing, validating and improving analytical methods, troubleshooting/maintaining instruments, interpreting/presenting analytical data
Working knowledge of the ICH Guidelines for Stability Testing, GMPs and GLPs and other regulatory requirements during IND-stage development is a plus
Familiarity with the following: emulsion formulations, colloid science, polymer solutions
