Director of Clinical Research for a privately held biopharmaceutical company in New Jersey.  This person will be responsible for the oversight and management of clinical project research functions. 

Responsibilities:           

• Provide strategic direction for clinical development plan and ensure operational execution.


• Interface with key internal partners: Regulatory Affairs, Project Planning and Management, CMC.


• Oversee and implement strategic planning to move drug candidates through development, registration and commercialization.


• Maintain accountability for reporting project status to corporate senior management and ensuring execution of project deliverables.


• Serve as Safety Officer for clinical projects including regulatory accountability for clinical safety issues. 

Qualifications:       

• MD or PharmD or PhD,.


• 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry clinical research experience in Internal Medicine, GI, Pulmonary or Cardiology, Endocrinology


• Excellent communication and presentation skills


• Strong interpersonal and motivational skills
