Client is a growing pharmaceutical company located in Northern California specializing in the discovery and development of polymer-based therapeutics. 

Formulation Process Development Scientist: Key role in company's drug development group, responsible for formulations, scale-up and process development of polymer drugs.

• Develop formulations and carry out experiments at lab scale for oral delivery
  
• Oversee contract manufacturers to scale-up formulations
  
• Oversee experiments related to the design, and execution of manufacturing processes Manufacture and package Clinical Trial Materials
  
• Review Manufacturing Procedures (Batch records)
  
• Conduct Technology Transfer and Process Validation
  
• Write technical reports and assemble documents required for regulatory submissions

Qualifications:

• PhD/MS in Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  
• 5+ years experience in a GMP environment with formulations, process development and scale-up duties related to solid oral dosage forms
  
• Prior experience working with and managing CROs/CMOs a plus
